storm after storm is going to pound california, oregon, and washington state. closer to home, albany is seeing snow right now. it's lake-effect snow coming off lake ontario stretching all the way into the birkshires of massachusetts. so we are seeing some snowfall across the northeast. it is just like a fact of nature. elsewhere, we're going to see that rain out towards california continue to move on shore. we saw a lot of airport delays yesterday. also some mountain snow is likely. as far as rainfall totals, we are actually going to see in the next 48 hours perhaps more than five or six inches of rain, especially across northern california into southwestern oregon. seattle could pick up a couple inches of that rain as well. again, we're looking at another storm to make its way on west coast later on this afternoon. that one should be stronger than the storm we saw yesterday. here in the northeast with the gorgeous view behind me, things are looking fantastic near downtown looking at the christmas tree. lynn? >> thanks so much. >> dianne feinstein says close gi
